Gaming marathons to raise funds for charity

I am a member of a group of gamers over the internet named The Speed Gamers, and we perform gaming marathons for charity. At the time of writing, we (as a group), have raised a total of over US$15,000 for various charities, with our most successful marathon having raised over $6000 over the course of 72 hours. That marathon was based on Nintendo's Metroid series, and I personally played three of the games during the marathon.

Actually, I don’t celebrate birthdays any more. Instead, I celebrate anniversaries of my 21st birthday ... it just works better that way. :) For the record, I recently celebrated the 26th anniversary of my 21st birthday LOL.
