‘Danneman42’:  "I have a battle going with my best buddy"

As King.com, we take a huge interest in the experience of our gamers. For that reason, on a regular basis we ask our visitors about their online gaming experience. This time, we interviewed Daniel, a 40-year-old Swedish IT consultant and researcher who’s living in Switzerland.

 "I’m a huge fan of the King platform"

“I recently took a serious step into adulthood by turning 40. That doesn’t mean I don’t like to play games: I’m a huge fan of the King platform! My personal favorites are ‘Mahjong Masquerade’, ‘Match Blocks Speedtrap’ en ‘Colour Connect’. Mahjong Masquerade is undoubtedly the game I'm best at and where I'm highest ranked. The variation Maze really tickles my 2-D senses of space and it challenges me to be cutting edge concentrated.

Unless I’m on vacation, I visit King.com daily and I play at least one hour every evening. It became a part of my daily routine a long time ago. I at least peek into every blog the Fool posts, but I don't have time to read every entry contributed. I do try to answer questions from other players.

All the different interactive features make the site very addictive: to me it’s a full-grown social community that I use as well for messaging friends. For example, I have a battle going with my best buddy on King.com (lovet1, a fellow Swede) to see who of us will reach 7 million Jewels first :-)
On king.com I have participated in many competitions! My experience tells me that in order to advance in ranking in any game, the daily progressive tournaments are your best bet. Last summer a daily freeroll (twice) was introduced: it's free entry and in my opinion a nice way to re-visit games you otherwise wouldn’t play so often (because there are so many other games you're prioritizing). Also, I have been lucky enough to win a Royal Cup in Masquerade Maze. Let me tell you: it's quite a rush to be the best out of more than 16 thousand players! :-)”
