Hi! I'm Trish and I live in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia ... host city for the 2010 Winter Olympics. So you wanted to know a little bit more about me and my gaming habits. My Age? Actually, I don’t celebrate birthdays any more. Instead, I celebrate anniversaries of my 21st birthday ... it just works better that way. :) For the record, I recently celebrated the 26th anniversary of my 21st birthday LOL.

I have one son who, in two weeks, will finish his training and be sworn in as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I’m also mommy to the two sweetest little Papillons on the planet ... Gizmo and Dobby. They were named after characters in The Gremlins and Harry Potter movies that have big funny ears. I’m a huge fan of the Vancouver Canucks and life stops whenever there’s a game on TV. I also love figure skating so don’t look for me when there’s a competition on either LOL.

I have a degree in Communications and I make my living as a Software Business Analyst. After work, I transform into “trishelle”, a minor league King gamer and major league blog chatterbox. My favourite King games include Pyramid Quest, Jelly Swelly, Bacteria Hysteria, Bejewelled and Twist Me Silly, but I’ll play pretty much anything if it will add another trophy to my awards cabinet  I’m not sure why I like these games in particular ... maybe because I’m not completely lame at them?

I’m a daily visitor to King.com and if you ask me, I’d say I spend just the right amount of time playing games. If you ask my family and friends that same question, they’d probably say I spend too much time playing LOL. I love being part of the King community and you’ll find nonsensical posts from me in the Fool’s blog most days. I’ve met so many wonderful people through King and some have become very good friends. My closest friend on the site is _effi_ who I first spoke to two years ago. I was so fortunate to be able to meet her in person when she flew all the way from Sweden to spend her vacation with me last summer. Since we had never met before, I took a pink balloon with me to the airport to represent the pink balloon gift at King. That’s why whenever you visit either of our profiles, you will always see pink balloons there from each other.

I play most of the Royal Cup tournaments, but the best I’ve ever done is Round 8. I call it the “royal choke” ... the bigger the prize, the more likely it is that I’ll find some way to screw it up LOL. Honestly, I know I’m never going to make any money playing games here but for me, that isn’t really the point. I’m here to have fun, collect all the sparkly awards and trophies I can, participate in the community and enjoy the many friendships I’ve made along the way
