Set against various backdrops of mysterious planetary origins, Bejeweled 2 continues in the same vein as the original with more colorful jewels dropping in place for players to rearrange in hopes of clearing groups of same colored jewels for maximum point scoring. The concept is simple. By selecting any jewel on the board and swapping it with an adjacent jewel, players will need to align same colored jewels in groups of three vertically or horizontally. When three gems are aligned, they will disappear from the board and more jewels will drop in from above to fill the void. Combinations can be achieved by simultaneously grouping multiple color trios for even more points and awards.
